ANNA WARWICK
Anna Warwick wrote stories as a child, one of which was used on
Here’s Humphrey and Mulligrubs. She has
a BA at UNSW in Theatre, Film and English Lit., and has studied
acting. She has also studied screenwriting at UTS, and completed
a Masters in Writing. Anna started her own email newsletter about
dating and romance in 2000. In May this year her first book `101
Dates’ was published. She has freelanced for magazines as
well as copywriting on the web and worked on the Big Brother website.
She is currently working at Wildfire magazines as Managing Editor. |

JAMES BRADLEY
James Bradley was born in 1967. Twice one of The Sydney Morning
Herald’s Best Young Australian Novelists, he is the author
of two novels, Wrack and The Deep Field, a book of poetry, Paper
Nautilus, which was shortlisted for the Australian National Book
Council’s "Banjo" Award, and the editor of Blur,
a collection of stories by young Australian writers. Wrack won the
Fellowship of Australian Writers Literature Award and the Kathleen
Mitchell Literary Award, and was shortlisted for the Miles Franklin
Award and the Commonwealth Writers Prize for Best First Book. The
Deep Field won The Age Fiction Book of the Year Award and was shortlisted
for the inaugural Courier-Mail Book of the Year Award, the Aurealis
Best Novel Award (Science Fiction category) and the Adelaide Festival’s
National Fiction Award. Both novels have been published overseas
and have been widely translated. |

JONATHAN HARLEY
Jonathan Harley is an author and ABC journalist. He is a Reporter/Producer of "Lateline" on ABC TV. He was our first speaker and
told us many stories from his book Lost in Transmission. |
